Bank of Scotland (Ireland) selects Hosting365 as hosting platform. Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has selected Hosting365 as its hosting platform of choice. Â The decision was made after evaluating Hosting365 on a number of criteria including robustness, accessibility, quality of service and price.Â

Headquartered in Dublin, Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has five regional offices and a growing number of retail branches. Â Â Following the decision to open Ireland’s newest high street bank in 120 years, the company required a local Irish hosting company for its corporate website and intranet.

As Stephen McCarron, managing director of Hosting365, says: Â “Given the commitment of Bank of Scotland (Ireland) to expand in the Irish
marketplace, it was important to them that an Irish hosting company provide them with a secure and accessible environment.”
“We were commissioned to provide dedicated servers for both development and production machines, set up firewalls and provide a 24×7 monitoring service for all their servers.”
Hosting365, now in its fifth year of operation, has established itself as the hosting provider of choice for Irish businesses and individuals.

The company has stretched its dominance over the Irish hosting market and now boasts over 50,000 domain registrations. Â Not only does
Hosting365 occupy the top position, its total registrations are greater than the sum of the next three hosting providers, including Esat, now
BT, and Eircom.
Today, Hosting365 also confirmed that it holds over 30 percent of the overall market and expects this to grow to almost one half by the end of 2006 and is Ireland’s only ICANN Accredited Domain Registrar.
