Hosting365 delivers Video for .Net user group
Members of Ireland .Net Developers Alliance (INDA), the developers’ group founded by Paschal Leloup, has recently launched Video Presentations over its member website, www.developers.ie. This facility, and the dedicated server running the website, is provided by Hosting365.
Paul Fallon, member of INDA, liaison officer for the European INETA.org body and independent IT consultant, welcomes the support and services provided by Hosting365. “As a voluntary, not for profit body, we are reliant on the support of technology providers in each country. Hosting365 has ably provided this support in a timely and generous manner.
“It is also important to the Irish membership that we have access to a state of the art website that meets our, at times, demanding needs. We have more than 900 members and they use our website as a portal for information, for sharing blogs, for communicating with each other.
“The facility to be able to post Video Presentations on the website is dependent on a high quality service which Hosting365 provides and is an important component in our communications armory going forward, he said.
INDA intends developing the regional forums allowing regional groups to not only meet regularly but also to share information directly over the web. Currently there are four main regional groups outside Dublin consisting of Cork, the South East, Galway and Limerick.
As Dan King, sales manager of Hosting365, sees the web portal becoming increasingly important to the Association. “By creating a dynamic and interactive website members can touch base and exchange information easily and at a time of their choosing. As membership of the INDA is voluntary, many members may not wish to have their work inboxes filled with member information. However, to provide a serious alternative to email based communication, the website must be lively and up to date. Hence the reason to provide dedicated hosting and the full suite of management services that goes with that solution.
